Sundhed Himalayan Pink Salt Brick is a premium gourmet salt harvested in the Himalayan of Pakistan and imported from Canada. Each piece is contains trace minerals and has no additives or chemicals.
Desirable for cooking, grilling or chilling. Can be used repeatedly up to five years with proper maintenance.
How to use
【Chill board】Freeze and use to chill sushi, shellfish, cheese, fruit and desserts.
【Grill seasoning board】Use after heated an oven; or heat over gas stove, fire or electric grill to cook or sear sliced beef, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms and more.
Heating tips
The salt is commonly heated to between 150 - 200 degrees C. Heat gradually to avoid cracks or breakage.
【Gas range or grill】Heat on a low flame, graudually increasing to medium low until desired temperature is reached, generally around 30 to 45 minutes. Place on metal plate to avoid burns.
【Electric range】Set the salt slab on a heat-safe metal platform so that the salt is at least ½ inch above direct heat. Direct contact could be damaging to both your equipment and/or your salt slab. Begin on low heat and gradually increase to medium low for approximately 40 to 55 minutes, or until salt reaches desired temperature.
Cleaning and maintenance
To clean your block moisten a sponge or scouring pad and wipe clean – DO NOT USE SOAP! Scrape off food residuals with a knife and rinse quickly in warm water. The slab has natural antimicrobial properties with no need for detergents.
Dry with a clean cloth and set on drying rack. Store in dry places - keep it in the carton package; or seal with pastic wrap and store in the refrigerator.
