Gene Sincere Biotechonology Company Limited was established in 2017. The company was established to promote the R&D and commercial development of biotechnology-related industries in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas.
The core technology is developed by a research team led by Professor Wong Wan Keung, and has already obtained a number of patents. Through advanced genetic recombination technology and streamlined purification procedures, he has greatly reduced the manufacturing cost to produce natural and high quality hEGF. Professor Wong Wan Keung received his Ph.D. from University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and then worked as a research scientist in a well-known biotechnology company in Toronto, Canada after graudation. He is now employed as an associate professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Professor Wong's inventions have also obtained patents in the United States, Mainland China, Taiwan and the European Union, and have been awarded multiple awards.
After more than 30 years of research and development (beginning at the end of the 1980s) by the research team led by Professor Wong Wan Keung from HKUST, the team has obtained a proprietary biological system and technology to efficiently produce two skin growth factors: epidermal growth factor (EGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), that can rejuvenate our skin. Our research and development efforts have made us the world's first group capable of producing authentic EGF and bFGF, meaning that they are exactly the same as the skin factors produced by the human body. The benefits of real factors include: they do not cause allergies and can be used safely, and most importantly, they have a high degree of biological activity and stability. Another important point is that we have the patent right to manufacture these two factors.
