This is a deep ear canal cleanser specially designed for dogs and cats, mild and non-stimulating, strong detergency. This product can dissolve and remove the excessive earwax (grease) and the dead keratinocytes. It is effective for eliminating the moist, dirt and foul odor in the ear canal. It is suitable for daily cleaning of pet’s ear canal to prevent otitis. It can also be applied before medication of otitis externa and ear surgery for ear canal cleansing, which provides an appropriate ear canal environment before treatments.

Mechanisms:
EDTA is a kind of chelating agent that can dissolve the nucleic acid. It can chelate and inactivate the divalent metal ions (Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, etc.) that are important for maintaining the normal structure of microbial cell walls, extracellular matrix, biofilm, etc. This would separate extracellular matrix from lipopolysaccharide (main component of cell wall) that is due to the abnormal osmotic pressure. The extracellular matrix becomes water soluble. TRIS can enhance the effect of EDTA and form a buffer combination to keep the pH value of ear canal mild.
Usage and Dosage:
Shake gently before using, twist to open for 1-2 times at the middle of the lid, squeeze until the liquid drips out；It can drip directly into dogs and cats’ ear canal when cleaning, wait for 3-5 minutes, after making sure the cleanser has fully penetrated the cell membrane, gently rub the ears and use the cotton swab to clean them.
Daily cleaning: Once per day, 2-4 drops each time
Otitis cleaning: twice per day, 2-4 drops each time
