Duchessa Lia was founded in 1953 when Francesco Capetta, the Capetta family's founder, established the first winery in Santo Stefano Belbo, at the heart of Italy's Piedmont region. Situated at Corso Piave 140, the gateway to the Langhe region, the estate is now managed by the third generation of the Capetta family, who safeguard and elevate Piedmontese wine traditions with familial passion. As Italy's largest producer and distributor of Piedmontese wines, Duchessa Lia focuses on environmentally sustainable cultivation and hand-picked harvests, strictly adhering to DOC and DOCG regulations.
