「 60-year-old vines whose roots go directly into the base rock. A deeper nose – wide at the base – the more modest higher tones are quite silky. Extra silky in the mouth, relatively linear to start too. I like the mineral drive here – not overly energetic but cool-fruited with melting flavour. Beautifully constructed and like the other wines in the cellar a very fine and growing floral accent to the finishing flavour too. Excellent!
