Trying to purchase a quality lamp can be like floating in the ocean when it is dark. Our mission at LIGHTHOUSE is to give a direction to our clients and point them towards lighting products which are both good in quality and affordable in the marketplace.
Now the lighting market is flooded with sub-standard products. From importers bringing in products that overstates wattages and brightness of lamps, to products that does not meet safety requirements. This can lead to monetary losses and in more extreme cases cause physical harm to individuals. We at LIGHTHOUSE ensure that all our products are fully certified before they are imported to ensure products meet safety requirements of Hong Kong.
A common misconception from consumers is that because the lamp looks the same they must be built the same as well. However, many products vastly differ in raw materials, thickness of the material used, drivers and LED chips even when the outlook is identical. This leads to a lot of frustration in purchasing and in many cases, customer ends up either overpaying for a product or choosing a substandard product that needs to be replaced in a short period of time. Our seasoned team members have spent thousands of hours taking apart lamps and have evaluated many lamps before listing ranges that are modern, dependable, and affordable.
