Warranty Terms:
Within 14 days of purchase, any product failure caused by inherent defects under normal operation, provided the product has not been disassembled, will be replaced with a similar model or repaired.
Within one year of purchase, any product failure caused by inherent defects under normal operation, provided the product has not been disassembled, will be repaired free of charge.
Within two years of purchase, any product failure will be repaired for a fee.
The above warranty or repair is limited to failures of electrical components, primarily the motherboard and display, and does not include consumables and accessories such as the outer casing, manual, packaging, and headphones.
The E Ink series of screens does not offer a guarantee of being free of bright/dark spots or dust spots. These are normal conditions and do not affect the product's functionality or performance. Errors within the design specifications that do not affect the device's function and are not manufacturing defects are not covered by replacement or repair. Uneven backlighting on the E Ink screen is also not covered by replacement.
The following situations are not covered by warranty, but are covered by paid repair service:
Unauthorized disassembly or repair of the device. Defective devices with altered or missing serial numbers.
Damage caused by human error or use in an unsuitable operating environment. Examples include damage caused by excessively humid environments or use of a faulty charger resulting in unstable voltage or current.
Damage caused by accidents or improper use, including water immersion, cracking, dropping, impact, improper plugging and unplugging, or screen damage caused by sharp objects.
Natural wear and tear, such as wear and tear on the casing and charging port.
Damage caused by force majeure, such as fire, flood, or earthquake.
Damage caused by attempts to hack, reverse engineer, or install inappropriate software or firmware.
Defective devices that have been determined not to be manufactured by our company.
Principle:
Once unpacked, no returns or exchanges will be accepted unless the product itself is defective. In the event of a return due to a defect, the gift must be returned in its entirety. Pubook accessories include peripheral products (such as transfer cables, protective cases, styluses, stands, screen protectors, refills, etc.). These items are consumable and therefore not covered by the accessory warranty.
We recommend carefully inspecting the product during the viewing process to ensure there are no defects or missing parts.
Using these accessories after unpacking will affect your return rights.
