  • This extended warranty is available only for electronic products with an original manufacturer’s warranty
  • To receive protection, complete the Extended Warranty Application Details including the product serial number after purchase
  • Coverage includes repair and replacement of items in the event of breakdown, allowing one claim per item during the coverage period. Claims are only accepted within the extended warranty period

HKTVmall Extended Warranty (EW) Insurance Plan 

1-year additional extended warranty coverage from Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (a company incorporated in Switzerland with limited liability) of selected authorized products purchased on HKTVmall. 

One claim per covered Item for repair and replacement costs during the coverage period; and maximum limit is up to the invoice amount for repair and up to 50% of the invoice amount for replacement

To enroll for the plan, customers should fill in and submit the application details within 45 days from the date of payment. Policy will be effective immediately after the submission date of all policy application details, the warranty policy will be issued after the application is accepted. If customers fail to submit the application within the prescribed time, the warranty policy cannot be issued, and the insurance order will be invalid.

 

Remarks

1. Zurich insurance product is only available for customers present in Hong Kong at the time of application. 

2. Levy collected by the Insurance Authority (if any) has been imposed on this policy at the applicable rate and would be remitted in accordance with the prescribed arrangements. For further information, please visit http://www.zurich.com.hk/ia-levy .

3. There will be no refund of premium on the unexpired insurance period if the policy is cancelled by you or Zurich.

4. We only accept claims during the extended warranty period.

5. The documents required for a claim include:      

a.  Copy of Official repair quotation and receipt issued by an official authorized service center

b.  Copy of replacement receipt (if beyond repair and need replacement)        

c.  Photos of Damaged items

d.  The Warranty Policy
