Ownership of 500 family wineries (1,000 ha.). Founded in 1956, named by the Deutsches Weintor meaning German wine gate. Our master and his team succeeded in reducing the acidity in the wine by using a special procedure, the LO3-Schonverfahren and converted remaining acid into more digestible lactic acid. The mild and mediterranean climate makes our small country in the south of the Palatinate to a very popular holiday region. Many hours of sunshine ripen the precious grapes, from which with love and care and a lot of experience characterful and distinctive wines are produced.
An elegant bouquet with slightly nutty notes. Expressive, very round and soft, with spicy fruit, fine, full, long finish. To light poultry dishes, fricassée, fine fish or mild fresh cheese. This wine can also be enjoyed "solo".
Climate/soil clay-loess serve at 6 - 8°C Analysis 12.5% alcohol,
